Northern Moore County "Pottery Country" & Seagrove

Pottery Country features many of the area’s finest potters including Jugtown Pottery, Ben Owen Pottery, Fireshadow Pottery and many other independent potters. This area is famous for its hand-blown pottery and dishware, artfully crafted before the eyes of fascinated spectators and offered for sale at reasonable prices. Typical standout features include: salt-glaze stoneware, innovative designs and wood firing in groundhog kilns. Most area potters are open year-round.

Seagrove is a small community in Randolph County, in the center of North Carolina’s Piedmont region.
